Easter Weekend

Last weekend Jordan and I spent saturday and sunday at my parents house again. We colored eggs, ate lots of good food, went to church on sunday and came home to do some easter egg hunting! Jordan and I were able to stuff some eggs and hide them for the kiddos to find. Then after the kids had their fun...the adults had a chance to find some eggs! My parents have done the BEST adult easter egg hunts in the past, and this year we had one since it was our first Easter as a couple. So my parents buy a ton of random goodies like candy, soda, cookies, laundry detergent, soap, lotions, paper towels, wipes, garbage bags, etc. and each prize corresponds with a number that we get in the eggs we find. I forgot to take my camera so all we have are iphone photos...but here are some pics of the weekend!
easter flowers from my love, colored eggs, deviled eggs, the main easter loot
ok, I had to put this picture in twice so you could get the idea of how AWESOME this is! Thanks Mom and Dad!
Uncle Jordan taught the kids how to crack the eggs on their heads...they LOOOOOVE him!
Jordan hiding eggs, Jordan opening our eggs, the winning numbers, and our take home pile!
how cute is this face?? Love that Wyatt!
It was also Paige's birthday on the 9th, so we celebrated a day early for the Princess.

I started the first of my 7 finals yesterday. 2 down...5 to go. Tuesday afternoon you can find me outside, in the sun, reading my books.

Conference Weekend

I realize that this post mostly has pictures of food...so. feel free to drool
This past weekend, Jordan and I spent Saturday & Sunday up at my parents house for conference! Saturday night after work, I dropped Jordan off at the Priesthood session with my Dad, Bart, and Jake...then my mom and I went shopping to get all the food supplies for the weekend...
oh yeah...we had some GOOD food.
But that goes hand in hand with conference weekend, right??
My mom made Kneader's french toast...with homemade syrup...it.was.amazing.

Then for dinner we grilled some burgers...here is Bart's creation!

and what is conference sunday without some orange rolls??
my parents listening closely to conference..

I was listening...with my eyes closed!

it was also Van's birthday on Monday! I feel like I hardly know this boy...but I just love him so much!
Conference was amazing. The weekend was perfect.
This weekend we're going BACK for another fun filled weekend at home for Easter. It's also Paige's 4th birthday Monday..so we'll be celebrating that as well!

Family

Can I just say that we have the best families ever? This week was a golden one. We had Jordan's family come and visit last weekend and it was so good to see them! We definitely had a full house, but it was nice to have company! Friday night after I got off work, we all went to dinner at the Pizza Factory (yum)...Saturday after I got off work we went to a Missionary homecoming party Luau style. This missionary served in Jordan's home ward and was really close to the Meyer family, so they made the trip down here to see him as well! Sunday we enjoyed the day together at church and hanging out at home. The girls helped Stacey make several fondant flowers and leaves for a relief society activity she was in charge of! The weekend flew by so fast and the Meyer's headed home on Monday morning after I left for school.
Jordan and I at the Luau and just a few of the flowers we made sunday!

This past Sunday was even a family holiday for the Tingey's...that's right. March 11th. This day and my birthday are probably the only 2 days out of the year that I hear from every one. Growing up with all older siblings, I listened to their music all the time. One of the bands that is a favorite is 311. So every March 11th I get a picture message from every one in the family. Sunday brought these awesome pictures...
here is the photo I sent out...
 Bart's photo...
 Candice's photo...
 Nate's photo..
...and last, but definitely not least...Jake & Brandy's photo.
love our family
