Birthday Boy!

Jordan turned the big T W E N T Y - T W O on Wednesday! His birthday was as good as a Wednesday birthday could be...however, we have been celebrating all week long! Monday night we drove up to Kaysville to meet our photographer from our wedding (4 months ago!) to finally see our pictures! After that we went to dinner with my Mom and Dad to Tepanyaki...it was so nice of them to take us out to dinner, thanks again!
Wednesday we both had school, so we didn't see much of each other until 6pm. Since I had school at 8am, I left Jordan's presents on the table so he could see them first thing when he woke up! Jordan also had school and after enjoyed a few good hours of golf. When we finally got home we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and Jordan even got to ride in the birthday saddle. After dinner...we just hung out at home and enjoyed being together. I even made a key lime cupcake-cake for the birthday boy...and was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out! (taste and look!)
I'm so lucky to have an amazing, strong, handsome, loving husband that Jordan is. I love him more and more each day, and can't wait to celebrate the birthdays to come!
Happy Birthday Love!

it's friday

*picture overload*
Another week down! I can't believe how fast time is just flying by. I've been in my Dental Hygiene program for 2 months already. Only 17 more to go. (I know that's not a lot...but if you could only see my work load you would understand how big of an accomplishment this is!) Also, a week from this coming Monday will be our 4 month anniversary. Cool right? LOVE my husband!
This week was pretty eventful. We were of course busy with homework and studying...but we did find time to have some fun! Last saturday it was Vince's (the Bro-in-law) birthday. We went to dinner at Tucanos with some friends and then came home and had some ice cream cake. Sunday I got to teach my little 7 year olds with Jordan. They LOVE brother Meyer!
Monday night for FHE Jordan planned it all. First we went to a place called Jimmy's? Jason's? Jacob's? I can't remember the exact name...but it was an indoor archery place! I've never done this in my life before, so it was definitely new to me. We got suited up with finger and arm guards, and equipped with some sweet bows and arrows. We had to get the hang of it at first...but once we started aiming on target it was a lot of fun. After target practice, we stopped at Gunnies (Jordan's idea) and looked at some sweet guns. Of course we had to look through the awesome western wear and try on a few items!
enjoy
 yeah...we kiss.
our sweet hats!
 oh how I love him

This was my shot. I was so proud!
I also somehow managed to hit ths tiny strip of metal (twice) that held the target wall together. This was the sad result...I totally busted the arrow.
I look SO tiny in this picture compared to the one below of Jordan. I was surprised at how big the bows were!

Vince is a HUGE fan of Ron Paul. Hence the shout out on his b-day cake
